written “3 & Done” in a sentence; the mark reads “3 & done.” — with the period.
what it is
3 & Done is a daily focus app. every task system its founder tried died of upkeep; this one asks for none. you say everything on your mind — messy is fine — and each morning the three things that matter today come to you by email, with the reason each one made the cut. nothing is lost, and nobody at 3 & Done reads it. finish the three and close the tab: three you can finish beats a list you can't.
empty your head. three things come back.

the founder
Douglas Mayle
founder — builds & uses 3 & Done
douglas mayle is the founder of 3 & Done. he's written software for a living for twenty-five years, most of it at YouTube, Facebook and Google — the work that let YouTube take videos longer than fifteen minutes, its first live streams, Facebook's News Feed, a billion-account migration at Google Wallet, and a team that put voice controls into cars running Android. along the way he abandoned about twenty-five task tools, because every one of them left the work of managing the list to him. 3 & Done is the one that does that work itself. he spent the spring sketching it — ascii mock-ups, design tools, a couple of frameworks — then started the version that stuck on june 11; two weeks later it was choosing his three, and he has read them every morning since. he lives in the Washington, DC area, is french by marriage, and reads no one's list but his own. 3 & Done is a product of Plezentek, Inc.
